As the name indicates Jallianwala bagh is a public garden in the vicinity of the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar. The garden also houses a memorial of national importance. The memorial to commemorate the mass murder of innocent people who had gathered to celebrate Baisaki festival (regional new year). The garden is maintained by national memorial trust.In the picture is a painting displayed in the mini museum at the memorial. The heaps of dead innocent people who were shot by British Army.
