Mawsmai village is near Cherrapunji, Meghalaya, and the caves here are major attraction for tourists. The village also has the giant monoliths. The caves are made of limestone. The dripping water has created stalactites and stalagmites. At places both are joined to create pillars. Inside the cave is spacious and one can move around easily. In the picture is a giant stalactite from a low ceiling almost touching the ground!
