253. Himalayan Deer, Yuksom, Sikkim

Himalayan barking deer ... you will see this in Shimla Nature Park-Zoo ... But, when you see these in the wild it is a gift. They are small and so swift making it hard to see them.

I went for a short hike in Yuksom area and noticed and clicked this deer near a dead log before it vanished into the forest. That is the only wildlife representative greeted me that day :)
