242. A jharoka in Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

When I visit these medieval and pre-modern era palaces I wonder what was life like? more specifically, life of (royal) women! See the world from behind the lattice work? I try to see from these windows and feel how did they see the outer world.

Hawa Mahal wasn't any exception. There were a lot many of these holes-in-the-walls. I peeped through these small windows world looked like cropped pictures.
