Shimla is a place where you will have to walk uphill and downhill a lot ... I mean to say ... it is a hill city :) I started to go around the place at 10AM and very few tourists were around! As the time passed the Mall Road was packed with tourists.The most popular and the only thing you can do here is walk on the Mall road and shop if you want to buy overpriced goods. There are good restaurants, coffee shops and a vegetarian cake shop!!
The picture here is statue of Mahatma Gandhi overlooking the crowd on The Ridge! It was around 10:30AM. Later this place was flooded with people. Thanks to the authorities for banning motor vehicles on Mall Road and the Ridge.
that's a good shot u've got of the popular mall road. i did shimla in a jiffy so i missed this particular place. i kinda enjoyed the shimla surroundings more...

As Rohit said even I like the surroundings of Shimla more. May be I have visited laakkar bazar and mall road so many times...The shot is lovely!
